2019 to 2020 | European Freight Village Ranking 2020 | Deutsche GVZ-Gesellschaft mbH |
Scope of services:
Together with the freight villages in Berlin South and Nuremberg, the GVZ Bremen has been one of the top national and international GVZ locations in Europe for many years. At the same time, all GVZ locations are increasingly subject to the diverse effects of logistics trends, which currently include topics such as "digitalisation", "shortage of skilled workers" and "urban logistics".
The aim was to generate new impetus from the performance comparison of the locations for the further development of freight village centres in Germany. To this end, performance and evaluation criteria (key performance indicators) were developed and empirically collected in a Europe-wide survey of over 100 freight villages. |
